The Pontiac GTO

In 1968 Motor Trend named the Pontiac GTO their pick for car of the year. So the original buyer of the Gorgeous GTO that you are looking at went to the local Pontiac dealer in Coral Gables Florida and ordered up his dream car. This GTO spent its entire life in Coral Gables and that’s exactly where we found it. We acquired this beauty for a major west coast muscle car collection and completed an 18 month no expense spared frame off restoration. During the full rotisserie restoration every nut and bolt was removed, restored and replaced. The entire drive train including engine, transmission and rear end were completely disassembled and fully re-built to exact factory specs. Only the most premium parts were used throughout the restoration. Originally Beige exterior with a gold interior ( wow, I know what you’re thinking, we felt the same way ) so we decided to select the best 1968 GTO color available. The Meridian Turquoise exterior and Turquoise interior is simply stunning. This GTO is Concourse Show quality from top to bottom. It has zero miles on a fresh 100 point Restoration. The collector owner needs to make room for newly acquired cars so reluctantly a few amazing cars have to go to new homes. We encourage any interested parties to come and thoroughly inspect the car in person as the photos just can’t convey how nice this GTO is. Engine and Drive Train:

The 400 V-8 350 Horsepower engine was completely rebuilt, balanced and blue printed according to the factories specifications (JE Pistons and Rings, Comp Cams valve train, Clevitte Bearings, Fel - Pro gaskets, Melling oil pump etc.)

The Rear End was rebuilt and fitted with a brand new Eaton posi & 3.55 gears by JS Gear Co. in Huntington Beach, CA

The TH-400 Trans was also completely rebuilt with a new valve body and Kevlar clutches

Electrical:

All New M & H electric fabricators wiring was installed from the front headlights to the rear bumper.

Body and Exterior:

Over 500 hours of skilled body work went into this car making sure it was as smooth as glass before the PPG base coat went down.

The Meridian Turquoise paint is flawless and looks incredible from any angle

All trim, weather stripping and emblems are either new or reconditioned
